How ShalaConnect handles service usage, school data, billing, and support — so you know exactly what to expect.

Privacy policy

School data is used only for product functionality and support. We do not sell or share student or staff information with third parties. Access is restricted based on user roles and authenticated sessions. Each school's records are stored in isolated per-school tables.

Terms of use

Schools are responsible for maintaining valid user access and data accuracy within their account. Product misuse, unauthorized access attempts, or unlawful usage of the platform is prohibited. ShalaConnect reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Billing policy

Pricing is INR 1 per student per month. Billing is calculated based on the active student count in the selected billing period. Invoices are issued monthly or as agreed during onboarding. Contact sales for volume or multi-school arrangements.

Support policy

Support is provided through email and scheduled calls during business hours (Monday – Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM IST). Critical operational issues are prioritized for faster resolution. Feature requests are reviewed and planned on a regular product cycle.

Data retention

School data is retained for the duration of the active subscription. Upon account closure, schools may request an export of their records. Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of written confirmation from an authorized school representative.
